Unix Security Engineer Banking Background to £60K- London
A leading international bank are currently seeking an experienced Unix Security Engineer to provide hands on high quality security input directly into the Unix Engineering group. The person will be able to demonstrate Unix Security best practices and to provide security governance on all aspects of the engineered build environment.
The ideal person would be able to :-
Demonstrate 5 years plus experience of undertaking the following Unix security functions.
Secure major brands of Unix (Solaris*AIX*Linux).
Global investment banking or financial institution experience 2 years + in security capacity.
Unix security design and implementation
Authoring*documentation of security standards, procedures and policy
Scripting skills using Shell, AWK and C
Knowledge of security tools and combating exploits and security audits
Education to degree level with CISSP preferred.
